Daniels Western Meat Packers, Inc. was founded by Daniel Santos in 1953. It began as a small butcher shop in Pico Rivera, and today has grown into one of the largest wholesale food distribution companies in Southern California. Daniel Santos' son, Al Santos, along with his wife and daugters run the company today.
Daniels Western Meat Packers is not only a distribution company, but also has a full service, USDA inspected in-house plant with multiple HAACP certified employees. This gives Daniels Western Meat Packers the capability to portion any product to a customer's specifications, and react to any market fluctuation.
Who does Daniels Service?
Over the 55 year span of business, Daniels Western Meat Packers has grown its customer base to include family restaurants, restaurant chains, resorts and hotels, country clubs, steak houses, theme parks, delicatessens, caterers, brokers and smaller wholesale distributors. Sales have come hand-in-hand with the customer relationships, and Daniels has posted consecutive annual sales increases for 15 years.
Daniels takes pride in the mission statement, "Small enough to know you, large enough to serve you." Every customer is treated like part of the family.
